code question

I held the odometer reset and switched key 3 times it says
04 04
Is that the same code twice or is that the code? It pops up the first time I switched the key. I went ahead and did 3 reps, but code did not change.

are you sure?

you shouldn't have to press the odometer button, just turn the key 3 times and then turn it and leave it in the on position.

But code P0404 is and EGR Valve error.."EGR position sensor signal does not correlate to EGR duty cycle."

i did key 3 time alone it said
done

Donno - did it flash the code separately like "04' "04" or together like "0404" ?

get a code reader on it. if your having a funny thing come up. Better to not waste money on things it may or may not be.

Autozone will test your jeep OBD2 system for free. and they will let you know what code you have.
