wheeling in toland

anyone up for a run out in toland, ma. nice trail.. good for stockers. some mud, some deep water. fun 9 mile trail,,, like i said my last time we had 2 stock jeeps both made it no problems.

and yes its legeal to run there.

GREEN-MACHINE 06-28-2011 07:40 AM

bump,,,, no body want to go wheeling over the long week end.

Pmedg 06-28-2011 07:57 AM

sounds like a good time, but its on the opposite side of the state for me. and im away the next two weekends. i will def have to keep it in mind for when i visit my friends in north hampton though. hope you find some people to go with. maybe bring the girls in your avatar, that could be a good time.

GREEN-MACHINE 06-28-2011 08:08 AM

its a 110 mile drive for me too, but i love to wheel.

Pmedg 06-28-2011 08:22 AM

From what I hear there arent many legal places in MA to wheel, so im sure i will have to make it out there at some point. Do you need a permit, or just have to be able to find it?

finding it is the hard part, you also need to be with someone that has done it ,, lots of turns and you enter private land ( big no no )and like i said it is legal to wheel there, no permit needed, there is also a nice trail in hungtion mass, way harder, this one you will need lockers

Pmedg 06-28-2011 08:48 AM

I'm straight stock at the moment, so i need the beginner trails. I've only taken it on the beach and private property.

toland would be awesome for you.. only 1 tricky spot and you can go around it.. let me know when you would like to go,

Pmedg 06-28-2011 01:04 PM

will do, I am away the next 2 weekends but def want to get out there at some point. I bet Always Stuck would be interested as well, even though it may be too easy for him as his Jeep is a beast.

btracy 06-28-2011 07:13 PM

sneck 09-16-2011 05:26 PM

i'd love to go tooling around in ma too sometime, but i honestly have no idea where toland is near, and apparently neither does google! is that out near sturbridge? i'm near boston myself, so if you have any good trails to recommend or feel like going on let me know!

GREEN-MACHINE 09-17-2011 03:17 PM

im going to try and set something up for a saturday in october , the 1st is out, hacking off my fenders, so the 8th or any saturday after that. toland mass is out at exit 3 off the pike, its a long haul from boston, but tons of fun and stock friendly... pm me if you would care to go, im working on getting a good group going.

Jmaggi 09-17-2011 10:44 PM

Pmedg 09-19-2011 07:20 AM

I'm down to make the trip out. I am available most saturdays.

GREEN-MACHINE 09-20-2011 11:04 AM

awesome thats 3, plus 3 from another forum,, now we just got to set a date.. 1st is out for me and the 8 th is out ,,, what say you all the 15th,,, im calling the 15th a trail ride in tolland, ya or na, lets have a count

Pmedg 09-20-2011 01:20 PM

I am in for the 15th. Looking forward to my first official trail ride. Prob will have a passanger or two with me.

sneck 09-20-2011 01:45 PM

I'm in as well. It's obviously not too official, but how rough of a ride is it/how long do you usually wheel? Need to figure out if I should leave the dogs at home or not. I figure leaving em home is the way to go so long as I won't be gone more than 16 hours!

jku-er 09-20-2011 04:02 PM

Sounds like a great time. Since I don't have my jku yet, I won't commit. But I'll continue to check this for future runs...

Jmaggi 09-20-2011 11:10 PM

I'm in n I got one more!
