I had this same problem on my YJ after installing my lift, 4.5" RE. I seem to remember it had a lot to do with my toe alignment. Double check that and let us know what it is.

Motor mounts that bolt to the block is the same, but you will have to change out the motor mount stands that are welded to the frame. Have to use the YJ stands for the 4.2/4.0 motors.

When I did mine I installed a 95 bar into an 88. There were some holes I had to notch in the hoop support but not a big deal. Yes, just order the soft top for the family type bar and you will be good...

ARB has it set up so that you can not lock the front with out the rear engaged. I would assume the reason behind this is because it is much harder to steer a vehicle when the front axles are locked....
