Tapped the new knuckle for the high steer...

Tapped the new knuckle for the high steer bracket, bolted and welded it in place. New ball joints, hub, and caliper. New inner axle and brake pads on the way.

I was still hoping I could find larger caliper mounts I would mount with grade 8 hardware and reinforce with some spot welds.


I have had some great success welding cast lately.

My brakes are larger. Sounds like your brakes weren't stock. They fit fine on the 98 knuckles I just got yesterday, but are too big for the 87 knuckle by about a quarter inch.

Guarantee doesn't mean much. I would rather not have to do the work. For one side these are $76. The spicer are $50. I just am not a big fan of crown.

You got it! I thought it was 92 or newer though. Neural safety switches are no big deal either way though. Most of the vehicles I have had it doesn't even work.
