Same thing happens to mine. Mine is also a 97 4.0. I kinda try to ignore it because the vibration stops by the second time i let the clutch out in 1st. Let me know if you figure it out

Same thing happened to my 97 last year, minus the pop noise. If i remember correctly, my throwout bearing got stuck and locked the pressure plates.

I like soft tops for the ease of taking off during warm weather... you only need one person. But if i had the money i would have soft for the summer and hard for the looks in the winter

I have Wet Okole seat covers in mine. I like them a lot and the keep the water from absorbing into your seat if you do get stuck in the rain (I know from experience)
