Even Marine speakers can't get drenched in water. If you're planning on soaking everything down then I'd advise against a sound system mounted inside.

Speakers that are water resistant can handle...

37's wheeled hard offroad will be pushing it on the D30, you'll still need fully built axles regardless of what you decide to use with that size tire. Probably a built D44 would be better.

The Ford 8.8 and HPD30 are already a solid option for durable axles. The D30 is a very strong axle already.

I second this, the distributor is not adjustable, timing is set by the computer. TBI and MPFI models are the same. Get a timing light on it and check the timing.

I'd look for a 4 speed personally. A 3 speed is not enough gears. Maybe if the speed limit was still 55, but not nowadays.

I wouldn't paint the chrome overlay, sell it to someone. Remove it and paint the actual grill.

I just prefer the simplicity of FI, especially since I roam...

Why go carb? Get rid of that old school junk and get it fuel injected!! It's a bit pricier, but the reliability AND not stalling when on steep inclines on the trail...

A Trac Bar is used to keep the axle from wrapping under acceleration, short for Traction Bar.

A Track Bar keeps the axle located side...
