When my jeep is cold it sounds like the lifter is a little sticky until she warms up a bit. 144, 000 miles on the engine.

Master Cylinder clutch

I lost clutch pressure the other day and ended up replacing the master Cylinder for the clutch. Works great now.

Then I have had a issue with the brake light on my dash staying on all the time...

Found out the problem was the master Cylinder...

Found out the problem was the master Cylinder clutch resovoir. The ring inside broke and the pedal disconnected.

Bought part will be back and running again.

I clutch pedal went to the floor today. Seems like the cotter pin is broken. But, it is discontinued from jeep. So now what? It looks like I have seen these in home Depo.

What would you suggest?...

Update it turned out to be the fuel pump and the tank was rusted. Just got her back today and WOW what a difference!

Backfires

My jeep runs great until about an hour then will starts to loose pressure and backfire. I then have to keep the gas pedal just enough pressure to go but, if I give itmore gas it will backfire again....
