Open area, yes. The only calibration my meter has is to set the needle to "set" before flipping the switch from FWD to REF, if that's what you're referring to.

No fuse. No relays. It's all in the spod. Just wire up the pos and neg.

Edit: whatever fuse size came with the lights, use that size in the spod for that switch.
