cant find anything about 1/8 on needles in carb. just says to remove stepper motor and fully extend needles and replace motor. did i miss something somewhere?

dont know actual mileage on engine, but fairly high. i dont know exacly the correct timing after nutter. factory calls for 9 degrees btdc. i have cleaned the carb more than once to no effect.

if you bleed using a hose you can get your wrench...

if you bleed using a hose you can get your wrench on behind the hose easily enough. just put one end on the bleeder valve the other in a jar with fluid in it. make sure jar end stays submerged then...

would i be possible and what would it take to swap stock engine and 5 spd tranny with 5.7L 350 chevy engine with auto tranny? thanks 4 any input

engine would idle smooth before nutter but would fall on its face at nything beyond 2000 rpms. i nuttered it and now i cant even get it to idle smoothly. starts hard and runs like sh#?! any ideas...

i recently nuttered my 1989 wrangler and when iwent to set the the timing i had to advance it well past 8 degrees to get the engine to run smoothly. any ideas or comments on what reason or problem...

just nuttered my 1989 wrangler with carter bbd I set the timing to 8 degrees btdc like was said and engine ran really rough. Had to advance way far to even it out. any ideas on what problem may be?
