My Jeep has 33" tires and 4.10 gears. I am surprised how fast it is through the first 3 gears. 4th is ok, but 5th is still a dog under 60mph. Definitely do gears.

Go to WalMart and buy a fuel additive called "Guaranteed to Pass". I have used it twice on vehicles that failed miserably and it worked both times. Your local auto parts store should sell it, too.

I bought it back in the Summer. It's my first Wrangler. It is an S model with a 4.0, 5 speed. and a/c. It also came with the shackle lift, 33" BFG's and 4:10 gears.

Yes, you can use TJ soft uppers with your hardtop. You have to modify one of the pins, i.e. cut and weld. There is a "How to" thread about it in the forum. Just search for it. Good luck!
