I would look for some cheaper estimates before you commit. That's a little on the higher side. I'd say with all the parts and labor you should be closer to 2k than 3k.

Just to give you a heads up if you were still considering Metalcloaks. They do not require any cutting or drilling. That is one of the main reasons I went with them. You remove your stock fenders....

Could it "handle" it? Yes. Will it be fun to drive? No, not really.

It will get you around though. I drove my TJ with 3.55's and 35s for quite some time. It sucked on anything that wasn't flat.

With the right setup, a JK is a extremely capable machine. I wouldn't mind owning one...
