I live in So Cal and my stock Jeep battery only lasted me 17 months, a little over 19k miles. Jeep replaced it under warranty though without question.

My solution was to use the Cool-Tec mount and then use the belt clip to slide it onto the mount. In my pic you can see the mic to my race radio in the front and my 75-822 clipped on the side.
