Maybe "tape" is the wrong word. It's pretty thin. See if this helps. It's on both the OEM tops sitting in my drive now :) BTW - These are both 2DR, not unlimited.

I have a 2012 and I think I have either a bulb out or a fuse blown. I am suspecting a bulb as I am not seeing any other lights not functioning.
