I ran my front up next to the radiator with an appropriate loop for suspension travel. The rear is on top of the gas tank. Transfer case is up by the battery tray. I used 3/8 fuel line.

Shocks are designed for compression and rebound. They are distinctly different valve scenarios. So it does matter if they are installed upside down. That doesn't mean that people don't get away...

Absolutely worth it! It's a pile of work, but you have an incredible improvment when you are done. I put the 5.3 in my Commando with an SM420 and an Atlas and love it! Been running it 4 years now....
