Car? What is this car you speak of? Did you buy the Jeep brand new or used?

To me it sounds like the activities of an auto/lunchbox locker. They have been known to ratchet and grind. Another...

Longer sway bar links should come with the lift, the e-sway bar should not be affected. It would be a good idea to get some brake line brackets. I can get you into a 2” lift, like the Rancho 2” sport...

I cannot speak to the quality of that lift. It is proprietary to Extreme Terrain, if I am not mistaken. No other vendors sell it, including myself. However, that is really the bare minimum you want...

C-gussets for sure. Truss over sleeves. However, I am neither here nor there on beefing up the tubes. There are a lot of guys running 35’s and 37’s on D30’s and D44’s with no axle tube beefing. Just...

There aren’t many. Most lifts that advertise their height come in a little higher. The RK 1.5” for instance will net you about 2” on an Unlimited. The Rancho 2” sport is 2” but it is pucks out back,...

I wouldn't lift up 2.5" without addressing the shocks. If you are planning on getting new shocks, I would just wait and save up a little more to get the kit with the shocks.

Ok. Feel free to PM me. I sell this stuff and know a lot.

Anyway, depends on budget but 3-4” lifts get expensive quick. You get around 3.5” and you start needing to address driveshafts, control...

Auburn makes a product called the ECTED which when not locked works as an LSD and goes fully locked at the flip of the switch. I am not a big fan of them. I would go with locker or LSD only.

Never looked into it but if it is done right the axles are dropped. Which is pretty labor intensive. Not difficult but takes a while. Did you get a breakdown of their fees, hourly rates or how they...

Alloy USA is fine. Also Yukon. I sell both and my Yukon sets are priced a little better. I used Yukon 5.13 in my 2008 with 35" tires. Any master intall kit will include the bearings.

Are you going to lease the new Jeep or buy? I doubt you will "get" 14K on the trade but I don't know. Someone more knowledgeable will come along.

Sometimes when you alter suspension, it takes a little time with the full weight of the vehicle to "settle" it. Since the clunk is upon acceleration, I am thinking it is just due to the weight shift...

You WILL lose 6th gear, MPG and felt power. 3.73 or 3.21. I had an ’08 2 door with 315/75R16 (35’s) with 3.73 gearing. I rode on 35’s for a long time thinking “ah it’s not that bad”. I lost OD (auto...

Whoever told you 3.5” is the minimum lift you want does not know what they are talking about. Personally, I wouldn’t go smaller than 2.5” or higher than 4” (more like 3.5”). A 2.5” lift with 35’s...

You will be able to see some of the shock. When you get into the 5160 and 5165, the ride is negligible in my opinion. Why such a high end shock? Consider the 5100?

At any rate, I sell them all....

I would do at least front lower adjustable control arms. If it didn't come with a front trackbar, that too.

For the 3.8L Auto and 35's, for sure 5.13. The 2007-2011 JK's with 35's really only benefit from 4.88, 5.13 and 5.38.

Find out what your stock gearing is. If they are 3.21, you will need a...

Once you hit 3.5" or more you start getting deep into the suspension geometry. It gets expensive fast. There shouldn't be "budget" 4" lifts. You would need to address control arms, trackbars, brake...

Which BDS lift did you go with? At 3" you are pushing the limits of the stock suspension if it was just an entry level lift. Adding 1 or 2 more inches will just exacerbate the problems that may come...

I agree with Jason. Personally I would err on the performance side, knowing I would slap on 37's on my 3.6L, so 4.88 would be an obvious choice for me. 4.56 could be used up to 37's but that is about...

Maybe find a 3" front spacer. I think Daystar makes one. You need to be careful though approaching 3" of lift with just pucks and no hardware to appropriately run 3-3.5" of lift. A la control arms,...
