It's a pain to line the holes up I ended up just using a pry bar between the shackle and spring to line them up.

Do u still have the trac bar on the front? Mine did the same thing when I replaced my shackles. Took the trac bar off and it lined back up

pitman arm?

i put about 4 inches of lift on my yj not to long ago but didn't drop the pitman. i noticed that the xj pitman arm is dropped lower then the yj. i was just wondering if the xj arm can bolt onto my yj?

I had a similar problem with mine. All that was wrong with mine was the pressure plate was dirty. Before u replace anything pull the clutch off and clean the pressure plate with some air and brake...

Yes the dust cover is on. I almost got it stuck 2 days before it broke. The tranny was completely under the mud. Im pretty sure thats why it happened.

Figured out what was wrong. After bleeding the slave agian and it not working i decided to take clutch out to see if it might be the presure plate. Turns out it was. The pressure plate was packed...

I don't think its the tranny I can still drive it without a clutch the gears are good! Thats why its got me stumped? Has anyone had a similar problem?

I'm new to fm I have a 94 yj. I have replaced both front hubs on mine. If u still have the drive shaft on just putt park brake on engage 4 low and that should keep it from spinning.
