Did the shop torque down your control arms and trackbar after installing the lift?

Did you set your tire pressure at approximately 28 psi?

Cooling wasn't the problem. I was getting a lot of wierd error signals from the instrument panel. My verifiably low battery affected the constant "CHECK GAUGES' warnings I was getting.

Tie rod ends have to be loose. Hardware is most likely stripped. Ball joints probably worn out. Dry steering test will be quick way to diagnose the extent of your worn parts to replace.
