If you want a cost effective way to re-gear your axles, find a set of used axles out of a 4 cylinder YJ. They came with 4.10 gears and will bolt right up, cost about $100-$150 per axle, its not much...

I had a reverse cut 8.8 in the front of my 2000...

I had a reverse cut 8.8 in the front of my 2000 F150. Ford uses them in their 1/2 ton trucks from 97-2015 in a IFS and 3/4 ton from 1997-99 that may be a solid axle but it would be full width.
