There could be lot of factors that cause bad gas mileage.. Mostly those are bad O2 sensor, bad cat.converter, vacuum leak, bad spark.....

+1 for rear main seal.. Had that issue already. For gear ratios, ratio should be stamped on tag which is on the differential.. Probably 3.07..
