What plugs did you use? Also make sure the coil boots are down all the way on the plugs. They can sometimes sit on top

Dash overlay is a common part crossing multiple platforms. Some which include lockers. Some dashes even have a full time 4wd spot but our tjs don't have that either. The xj's did however.

Um. ..I've done it as well as many others. Everything's sealed. You can drive without rear shaft indefinitely.

Perhaps your thinking of a different vehicle like the yj?

I'm pretty sure that if there's a vacuum leak to the blend door actuator it defaults to defrost position. Definitely not your resistor lol. I suppose it could be the knob..

If it looks to be in 2wd, check your front axle U-joints. One of mine was bad and had the same symptoms when turning, especially tight like in parking spaces.

Yes, there's a single wire that is grounded to the tub when the lever is pulled. Should be right under the boot. Or storage console if you have one.

Went to the Jeep dealership once. Parts counter guy didn't know what a JK was. Ended up they didn't have the Oval drain plugs and couldn't get them.

Same lift on mine. Drilled out the mount as well and wasnt thrilled with the idea after looking at it afterwards. Went with an adjustable instead. But I can't weld so if you can get a plate in there...
