Unless you were in 4lo you would need to use the clutch when you backed up; "full tire was under" would be deep enough to allow water/mud in the bell housing/clutch area. Just a thought.

Had a 2009 JKR with 4 speed auto. Traded it for a 2013 JKR with 6 speed manual. Loving the new 3.6 AND the 6 speed manual (not to mention the new interior, heated leather seats and Bluetooth).
