Yup, I am bailing on the axles. I will keep looking. May end up doing the 8.8 axle instead if I am unable to find a TJ d44 that I can afford.

Yes, he said they came off a 2006 but he sold his jeep and never installed these axles. It is a d44 but I don't believe they came off of a tj.

I have a '97 TJ with a D35 and am looking at swapping in a 2006 D44. Are they compatible to swap out if gearing is the same? Thanks for input.
