I have flat fenders with the rock krawler x-factor 2.5" lift kit and goodyear duratrac 315/75R16's. I'm happy with the 2.5" lift and actually think 37's would look better but still happy.

I keep the surrounds on and have even considered painting them bright metallic silver to match the B-pillar.

The B-pillar on a JKU just makes the Jeep look weird without the door surrounds.

I had the cam phasers done on my 2012 at around 45000km on the odometer. Not sure if I'm nuts or not but after they did them my mileage seemed to become more consistent.
