X2 on the rust, make sure she shifts correctly and you don't have to force it. If the swap was done correctly you shouldn't be able to tell the difference while driving and shifting.

Yes, they are off center towards the middle of the Jeep... From what I gather, they come like that from the factory. I'm gonna tackle that issue but not real soon, I have other stuff I need to do...

i think what xjrjrx was saying was like milling slots on the seat mount not the tub, that way you keep and use the factory tub mounts and still move the seat over.
