Thanks to 2 incredible deals, one from a friend, and one from Craigslist, I was able to procure a set of matching Pintlers and Duratracs for my trailer. Looks awesome now.

I have them on mine, and I've been very pleased. Step works perfect for the Mrs and 5 year old to hop in, and they help keep doors at bay as well.

Sounds like you don't have it installed properly. You need to take the hard plastic, turn it so that the edge that is bent 90 degrees faces the back of the Jeep. Then insert the plastic into the slot...
