Did you take the rig out and perform the exact same test you performed to get the ESP/BAS/BLD to function without the lift?

You will find a faulty sensor if you damaged a wire by the same test....

That comment is listed only in the 11 and up manuals. It is mentioned in the sub-text for compass calibration.
