Help speedometer messed up

Unhooked the battery to do some lights and hooked it back up. Now the speedo is reading over 100 at maybe 20. Gets over that and the engine cuts out. No codes and I have unhooked the battery 10...

konadog, did you mount the 2.0 steering...

konadog, did you mount the 2.0 steering stabilizer the same as stock or did you have to flip it? Just got mine and it came with the steel bushing in the rod end. Looks like the valve stem at the body...

I'd like to know also. Just got the same ones put on the rear. Working on the fronts tomarrow. I was gonna start out at 4 all the way around. Won't drive it much till spring.

From what I've read the Currie is not the best on road. And that's what I'm after "on road" I like the GenRight for the front but the rear looks like overkill.

Sway bar for on road

What would be the best sway bar set up front and rear. With a 3" lift and Fox shocks. Stock? Or Is there a aftermarket set up that would be an improvement. My offroad driving is mostly mild.

Witch skid did you get? I got the No BL with the Lopro mount coming. I have a 2004 Rubicon manual. Looks like I'll have to move my Cat and muffler up. Any other tips or problems?

FYI here's the P/N CBXC060 cost was 4.87 tax...

FYI here's the P/N CBXC060 cost was 4.87 tax included. It was the recall part.But mine was not in the recall (2004) don't know how it got on there but it has to help.

Heat sheild

I'm replacing my valve cover gasket. And there is a foil heat shield on top of the intake manifold. It has fell apart. Dealer can't find it in parts book. Or they aren't looking in the right place....

Tummy tuck w/o a lift

Anyone know of a tranny skid for a Rubicon that doesn't require a body lift? Doing the clutch and and now would be a good time to do it.

That kit is now 155.00 at Clutch City. Rock Auto is 90.ish. Both are LUK. Seam to be the same LUK p/n 05-065 Thanks. I'm going to check the locals.

I have read a lot here that it's the clutch of choice. Are they still coming with the plastic T.O. Brg? I've found them from 90.00 to 279.00 are they all the same?

Will the Warn kit from Randy's fit on my 04 rubicon D44 axle? All the kits I find say they are for the D30. From what I've been told the the diff. Is the only difference in the two axles.

Flip it around 180 degrees. I took mine off an had the same problem. Till I turned it around. It does make a difference.
