Actually if you use a grease gun with a needle tip, it will slide in under the metal clamp, and allow you to pump in the grease. Then you can just work it around to the lower part with your hand....

I rather like that my AEV carrier is offset. Makes it easy for opening the gate, gives a bit more visibility out the back window, and allows for a full size shovel to insert into the carrier as well....

Might depend on if it's a 2 door or a 4 door. I use a Home made T bar system. One cable, on a hand crank winch. Once I have it up I just lower it onto a platform I built, and leave it in the rafters...

I put a few under the dash, and a few over the dash. I also put the seat heater switches, and esp kill switch in the centre arm rest where the storage compartment sits.
