I also tried this. The rear springs can be swapped in twenty minutes. The TF spring retainers can be a bit of a pain. The fronts are a little more involved.

My 2013 JKUR does this too but I've never considered it a problem. Stops just fine, doesn't pull left or right. With larger tires it does take a bit more effort but even that's hardly noticeable ......

You're thinking at the wrong end of the suspension cycle. Bumpstops limit compression. As Ken said, limiting straps limit travel under extension ... which is where your springs can get "spit out".

Na, I'm looking at D-rings. Admittedly, my exposure to d-rings is limited to climbing gear. Climbers gots to have some locking d-rings (carabiners) ... that and a healthy sense of self preservation.

You're really only concerned with the radius - regardless of what the device says. Also, radius will change due to the influence of centrifugal force and even tire pressure as temperature fluctuate....
