You'd have to check but I think this would work in a JK since it goes where your stock muffler is (exhaust changes required obviously) and that area should be same between JK and JKU. It's expen$ive...

Stick with it until they fix it or replace it, it's worth it. Sounds like a lemon. I haven't had any problems (except self inflicted) in 18 months and 24k miles. Good luck!
