Wow. Might your tailgate he aftermarket? I have not seen a TJ without a key lock/latch mechanism. If Mopar still has such parts or try Quadratec or other aftermarket dealers.

I replaced my water pump along with the radiator. Ordered both from WeRMopar and don't remember there being more than one option so I can't speak to whether it was a high flow version or not.
