So I cleaned the throttle body, which wasn't as dirty as I thought it would be. There is no change in the symptoms. Not even a little. Any other ideas? I just don't know what would...

Thanks for the advice! I googled it and found some info on Mobiloil.com that describes these symptoms exactly...I'm gonna buy some TB cleaner and will probably give it a shot after work...

The throttle valve linkage could use some adjustment.

I have the 2001 and turning the key on/off 3 times doesn't do the fancy gauge dance, but if your check engine light is on, it will display error codes.
