Airing down makes an enormous difference, but unfortunately you have to deflate to very low values, such as 15 psi, to obtain the benefit. Having done that, airing up takes a good compressor. I'm...

Do carpet replacement liners exist

I am wondering if anyone seen something like a rubber floor mat, but the one that goes on the bare metal and holds in place by means other than clinging to the pre-existing carpet. In my 2010, front...

I heard that in the past AEV required the customer to supply the Hemi, and not just any Hemi. The most important part was to find one from the old Durango, which had a functional and compatible...

I thought the water pump was far out in front. How would coolant get into the bellhousing?

Tasting coolant must be done carefuly: it's poisonous. But yes, it's a little sweet. That's why dogs can...

I found that PIAA 94038 refills fit ideally. Fortunately, I saved my OEM blade holders when I installed Bosch assemblies, so I put PIAAs refills in and swapped them back.

I wish there was a source of rubber alone. It's easy to replace on the old JK (I have 2010). But the industry only sell full assemblies these days.

My CB is not overpowered, so I simply ran the wires from the left 12V cigar socket. It is switcheable, so it is harmless to leave the radio on (right side socket is always powered on 2010). Hooking...

I found ARR to be the best (pics at zaitcev.mee.nu (http://zaitcev.mee.nu/3113369)). Its performance is better than other types of antenna mounts that I tried out, SWR 1.55 on center. I know it's...

It's more of a problem for taller drivers. If you have to turn your rear view mirror upside down, then you'll understand why the wiper blob needs to be removed. Otherwise, like someone else said, you...

My DIY hoist is generally like Matador's and Patty's. I used 4 eye bolds in ceiling beams and 2 more larger gauge ones in a side 2x4 to support. I found that I'm not strong enough to lift everything...

Corbeau carried over their TJ seats into JK by use of a bracket. IMHO it's quite sensible. My only problem with that is just how ghetto their JK adapter looks. It's welded from band iron with edge-on...

Whole replacement of 3.8L PCM

I'm wondering, does such an animal exist? Back in the 90s, when cars were already somewhat computerized with DIS, it was possible to buy replacement PCMs from e.g. JET. The old JK was even more...

Mr. Dragons lives in SF Bay Area. If he goes by 680 into Dublin/Livermore, then he has to negotiate a fairly significant ridge. It's not Altamont, but good enough to put a dent into mileage.

Gas tank skid plate removal

The main question is if the gas tank is held in place by anything other than its skid plate. It overlaps the front cross-member by a little, so the nose with the fuel pump is going to stay put, but...
