I'm not sure how this would do anything different when the rear drum/shoe e-brake is a totally separate system from the rear disc/pad service brakes. Either way, I've tried it and it has no effect....

If it's a simple hole from a nail or something they'll unmount the tire and patch it properly from inside. If it's a sidewall or something else that can't be properly fixed they replace it.
