HardcoreTJ runs a V8 with his S35 kit. Locked on 32" tires. You'd have to ask him, but he hasn't had many troubles with it as far as I know.

If you're concerned about it looking goofy with that extra 1.25 inches, I wouldn't worry about it. Some aggressive 32" tires will look perfect in there, and is a good size for that amount of lift.
