There's some covered screws on the dash, pop the caps off and it mounts there, no drilling at all. I ran the cb wiring up under the center cover by the defrost vent.

I installed the Rugged Ridge Dash Tray and mounted mine on there. Others have mounted them above the rear view mirror. It really depends on the CB you get. I haven't heard of many currently using...
