Most cruise controls systems used to work on vacuum, but I am not sure if they still do. They do use the throttle position and speed censors, do you have any codes or check engine lights?

Maybe use some shims under the mounting bracket...

Maybe use some shims under the mounting bracket instead of the adjustment on the bracket? Or you may need to "adjust" the bracket with a prybar :whistling: slightly.

I use Rain-X. It works pretty good. If they are halogen bulbs, they should get hot enough to melt the snow but it may take some time depending on how thick it is.
