The easiest way to find your evap leak would be to have a shop hook it up to a smoke machine. They shouldn't charge much, it's quick and easy.

No problem, if I recall the tranny takes about 2.5 quarts, so buy 3. :) Fill it until it starts to ooze out of the fill hole. I use non synthetic gear oil as it was recommended for my ARB locker.

Big hammer works great removing tie rods from steering knuckles. Removing a stabilizer from the drag link, I use a pickle fork, less likely to bend the drag link.

The cable looks like it's in the brackets backwards. I would install the brackets without the cable attached. I your first pic, not sure where the washer goes but the black tab bolts to your transfer...
