I wouldn't do a hard top rack. If you want a rack I would spend the money on a full blown roof rack system. Or a rear rack in the hitch or on a swing out carrier. A full size body or frame mounted...

It is a newer plate. Montana is doing the same thing where we have about 50 plates that cost a little extra but benefit a foundation. This one is for open recreation land.

That's exactly how I am. Don't like chrome. Too much black is not my thing either. I'm an auto tech for a living so if you ever have questions you can always bounce them off me if you want.

Factory wheels would be cool for sure. That's what I used. Just had them powder coated. Man powder is strong when they do a good job.

You could always price having the aluminum wheels you have powder coated gold. Just sayin they do powdercoat aluminum. It was about 220$ to have all five wheels (steel) done in white.
