As long as the jeep is secure, starting it is fine and helps... you may need to try the socket at a few different spots to get the hub fully out..

You can also install TJ flares which will allow you to trim some of the sheet metal for a bit more clearance. Also work into your buget with a taller lift a SYE and new rear shaft..

On paved roads with 6" snow.. No lockers is the best... If you need traction rear is fine.. either locked or limited works okay.. But a front locker in snow usually can cause the steering to vibrate...
