Is 6 mpg normal for a 1997 wrangler with a 4" lift and 33" tires?

I just bought a 1997 wrangler with a 4" lift and 33" tires and I filled it up, drove it home and did the math and I'm getting 6 mpg. That can't be normal, even for my 4.0. What could be wrong with it...
