There are pro's and con's to both options it's not simply a matter of throwing on bigger tires and calling it a day... there is alot to consider. This is why when I did mine I started out with 33's...

Agreed people need to remember that terrain and allowed access varies greatly from region to region and that a rig that works great in one area for someone May not be a very good fit for someone else...

Yea you'd be fine starting in 2nd or 3rd depending on terrain then shifting to 4th or wherever you need to be... It's nice to keep your rpm over 2500 on sand so you're right in your Powerband in case...

If your rpm are low enough that you're bogging out in 2nd gear in 4hi you should be fine running in 3 or 4th in 4lo at a decent rpm

Yupp, 4lo for me... You can always use a higher gear if you want to go faster. We regularly run our local dunes in 2-3 in 4 low and it works great

Agreed, I based my decision on recommendations and reviews for my application, not on weight. If they end up being 55lbs great if it's 75lbs then so be it... But tires greatly depend on your type of...
