It can be done and it will work but you'll need 3" bump stops front and rear along with 4.5 or less wheel backspacing. If you don't, your tires will rub. This setup will also limit your articulation.

Coast front drive shaft

Coast 1310 front drive shaft for 2012 and up JKs with manual transmission (will fit 2 door or 4 door). This drive shaft is in excellent condition with less than 5000 miles and includes both yolks....

With the 3.8 and 6-speed, I wouldn't do less than 4.88s. I had this combination on a 2007 JK and it was perfect.

If you don't ever plan on re-gearing your JK, then I'd recommend getting the factory LSD because it's a relatively inexpensive and worthwhile option. It'll definitely be a noticeable traction...

It depends on the backspacing of your wheels. They should fit with 4.5" or less backspacing. The stock wheels won't work without spacers.
