I'm on vacation in Gatlinburg. On my way in, a car hit my trailer. He bought me a new wheel, but after we left I noticed my axle was also bent. I need a new one before I leave.

So, once again it appears that I fell prey to the differences between earlier and later frames.

I got a tow hitch, that came off a 2004 if I recall. And it doesn't even come close to fitting....

I would probably make a mold and do a full layup with fiberglass, around an upper frame. It would give you good strength. Of course you might have to make your sliding windows first, but still.
