I had a snap ring come out of a Johnny Joint in my lower rear control arm once. That exhibited the same effect so check your rear lower control arm bushings real good

If both track bar and drop pitman are lowered equal amounts it will not create bump steer. Drop one without dropping the other will create bumpsteer.

If going with a JK try to get a 2012 or newer. No comparison driving the newer JKs VS the 07-11s gears can only do so much to make up for no power . Big difference to drive with more power.

I would stay with a true 2" suspension lift to possibly avoid any other issues. If you need to go higher add a 1.25"Body lift. It will still drive good and ride better than a three inch suspension...
