I trimmed my winch plate for the hooks. No loss in rigidity or strength that I can tell. Just trim only what you need to. I wouldn't remove material from the angle at the rear of the plate though....

Looks like you have stock springs. I'd go to a 2.5 lift if you plan on taking it off road with 32s. I have a 2.5 lift with 1 inch body lift and I almost rub with 31s.
