Thanks guys, I'll check into YouTube to see a brief run down. As far as the clutch fan I'm gonna leave it be since I'll be removing it soon enough for electric fans.

4.0 water pump

Go here has changed the water pump on a 4.0. Mines on its way out anything too look out for. I've done one on a 351w so I'm not new too it

Yeah probably, but I do have plans on either metal cloaks or making my own flares. That will completely solve the problem. I can turn the wheel lock to lock and drive in a complete circle with now...

You can get a Rough Country lift off eBay for close to that. That's what running rides pretty good, at least too me. Then save up for new tires when you need them

Are the bolts tight? If they are allowing the axle to spin at all it will snap a u-bolt easily. How's the drive shaft angles look?

I have a eaton e-locker in the 8.8 but the front stays open! I'm worried the d30 wouldn't fare or well with 35's and a locker of any sort

I ran 44's 46's and military 49's with a 4.2l and 5.38's and I could spin them. The military tires were 300 pounds each. This was in a 99 f150.

I think you would be fine, honestly I'd look for 5.13 gears or even 5.38 but not gonna hurt anything with that much gearing. It will be a turd though.
