You can use spray dye (Dupliciolor) to "fix" the carpet, but you have to use a darker shade for it to work. You'll never be able to match the color or cover stains unless you use the darker shade.

Turn the key to the "on" position and watch the gauge. If it reads more than zero with the engine off, you have a bad sending unit.

It's probably from the weep hole of the water...

It's probably from the weep hole of the water pump and running the length of the oil pan. That's where mine finally showed up, because of the engine and driveline angles.
