Rather than punching the box try wiggling each...

Rather than punching the box try wiggling each relay & fuse one at a time to see if that gets it going. If that works you will know where the problem is.

You’re right. If the headlights & other things that operate without the key are dead, the problem is not likely in the ignition switch. Losing power to everything is likely caused by a bad connection...

On your ’05 it is the orange/brown wire coming from the cluster & going to all the switches, dials, etc. Probably easiest to pick it up from the heat-a/c panel or the switch panel. Can’t help you...

For 2003 & later I think that fuse has power from the headlights on low beams only, not high beams. That may be what you want but if you want it for both be sure to check it.
