Steering Shaft Replacement.

Anyone have experience replacing the TJ steering shaft? I have a lot of play in my steering wheel. No "death wobble". just left to right play in the wheel when turning or going around curves....

A lot of work! New suspension brackets. They're longer so will have to be cut down. It's doable and a better axle but beware. Check out Burnesville Off Road, they do conversions.

So....I finally figured out the problem. My dad unknowingly cut 4 wires on the driver side wiring harness on the inside of the fender. What a pain! Thanks to everyone for the help.

When I turn the key all the gauges come on and I can hear what I think is the fuel pump running but that is it. No clicking like its a dead battery, no motor turning, NOTHING.

Installed Currie steering and went back to stock...

Installed Currie steering and went back to stock PA on my '98 last month and could not be happier! Drives smoother now and one less thing to worry about on the trails.

I wasn't sure if there was a issue with the battery being out for an extended period of time or not. I've heard of some vehicles having to be reset if the battery is out for so long.
